The Marsconjunction with Neptune in Pisces releases withheld energy. In the watersign of Pisces, a “yin” sign, the forward thrust of Mars is diffused, reformed and tends to be turned inward. Once passing through the diffusion of Neptune, Mars continues through the Pisces bogs, entering Aries on January 2nd. This transit through the mutablewatersign of Pisces brings up old ghosts and prepares for a renewal of direction in the primordial energy of Aries. However, as the MoontransitsNeptune and Mars this week, the combination is once more triggered on the 14th of December. The transit over Neptune indicates sorrows and forgiveness while the transit over Mars redirects to a freshening up or brushing up for the future. Mars is the broomstick that releases past “karma”, ridding us of the falseness, illusions and immorality of the past.Summary of Major Aspects of the WeekWednesday December 12th– With the Sun and the Moonsextileaspect (60 deg, friendly) and Pluto at the midpoint in Capricorn, displays of power must be limited. Saturn in Capricorn is the dispositor of Pluto in the same sign. Power is limited and circumscribed by political forces (Pluto semi-sextile to the Sun) and organized groups (Moon in Aquarius). Mercuryingress to Sagittarius today, to publish findings and convince others to join in the cause. Jupiter in Sag helps to integrate the conscious (Sun) and published (Mercury) details. The power of the press to unify the population, for example, is one outcome.Thursday December 13th– The Moon in Pisces today forms a trineaspect (120 deg, flowing) to Venus in Scorpio and then moves on to transitNeptune’s position late in the day. While the Moon-Venustrineaspect could be favorable, the transit over Neptune and then Mars could be problematic, even toxic. Enjoyable as the Venus-Moon trine in watersigns may be, it could also be revealing, leading to deeper issues. The Moon also forms a squareaspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mercury and Jupiter in Sagittarius.Friday December 14th– As the Moon transits Mars in Pisces, motivations are uncovered. Ghosts from the past can now be revealed. This could also be a therapeutic influence, as emotions are released, issues aired that lead to a healing. Mars is introverted in the watersigns, and as the Moontransits it may be confused. However, we may find a peaceful evening to a confusing day. On the higher level of the Neptunetransit, acceptance and surrender to the mood of the day would be a beneficial outcome.December 15th First Quarter Moon London, England GMT 11:51Saturday December 15th– As the quarter Moon occurs early today, an opportunity presents for a philosophical growth (Sag-Pisces). This may be a day for emoting in general - an exercise in spiritual cleansing or renewal. Saturn in Capricornsextileaspect to Venus in Scorpio can tame the heavy emotional outbursts. Mars, on the other hand, approaches a sextileaspect (60 deg, friendly) to Pluto, as emotional charges may be built up - unexpressed until a later eruption. Saturn tries to keep things cool, and in the sweetest way possible (Venus). Yet, Venus in Scorpio is disposedof by Pluto, so the vindictiveness may be disguised. Venussemi-sextile to Jupiter could help keep any disagreements on a philosophical level.Sunday December 16th– It begins as a charming day, with the Moon in Ariestrineaspect (120 deg, easy) to Mercury then transiting to a trine to Jupiter in Sagittarius. The quincunxaspect to Venus in Scorpio that follows is modified by the squareaspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn. Formalities or other limitations may be overdone, possibly allowing for less freedom of expression. Sparks of ingenuity may overcome emotional blockage. Late in the day, Mars is in a sextileaspect to Pluto giving a deeper meaning to personal direction aligned with a more universal cause.Monday December 17th– This is a day for action, even feeling compelled to accomplish tasks as the Moon in Aries is in a squareaspect (90 deg, harsh) to Pluto in Cap. Once the difficult decisions are made, the day goes smoothly with a Moontrineaspect (120 deg easy) to the Sun. Mars, the dispositor of the Moon in Aries in a sextileaspect (60 deg, friendly) to Pluto urges for inner continuity, and a push to overcome barriers. The MoontransitsUranusretro in Aries so we may need to reverse some decisions. Quick thinking saves the day. Tuesday December 18th– The Moon enters Taurus early in the day, with quincunxaspects (150 deg, complex) to Mercury and Jupiter in Sag for more down to earth social gatherings with a hint of complexity, and will oppose its dispositorVenus in Scorpio in the afternoon or evening hours. The repartee or entertainment should be kept light.Wednesday December 19th– The Moon in Taurus forms a trineaspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto in Capricorn, while Venus in Scorpio now moves to form a trineaspect to Neptune in Pisces. Earth and watersigns are favored for transforming experiences. The Moon is then sextile to Mars (60 deg, friendly) for a satisfying resolution.Thursday December 20th– The Mooningress to Gemini today and is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to the Mercury-Jupiterconjunction in Sagittarius. This seems very fortuitous, as the Moon represents the reflexive thought in Gemini, and draws on the Jupiter-Mercury conjunction to enrich the conversations of the day, despite the tensions that may arise. Venus in ScorpiotrineNeptune in Pisces continues today to give a deeper or more intimate understanding in relationships. Thanks for reading my report.
