Calculation and Euphoria – Week of May 30-June 5 2018

From the Full Moon effect to a grand-trine in water signs (emotional fulfillment) the mood is buoyant to start this week's analysis. (I write this blog on every Monday and Tuesday of the week, not the weekend). The Moon travels from Sagittarius to Capricorn where it combines with the celestial heavies Saturn and Pluto (both on retrograde missions), arrives in Aquarius on June 2^nd and then transits Mars in that sign. On the 5^th of June it ingresses to Pisces, will merge into the seas of universal unconsciousness and meet the dissolvent Neptune. It looks like an eventful week. With the US-N Korea summit again in the works with the date of June 12^th for a possible meeting, the Jupiter-Neptune trine aspect takes on increased significance as a sign of increased risk. Wednesday May 30^th – The Moon in Sagittarius forms a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune early in the day. We can try to reject or neglect our homeless and/or immigrants; we may be subject to virus or pandemic; or discontent at this time. And truth, the victim of the transit may be more elusive than ever. Ceres in Leo is in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to the Moon, as sporting events for child rescue causes could raise awareness. Venus in Cancer is in opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to the midpoint of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Innovative approaches to healthcare and nutrition (Venus in Cancer) become more available. Venus approaches a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Jupiter retro in Scorpio, a sign of good fortune. Neptune joins the aspect later for inspiration, and the ability to utilize the good fortune for a just cause (Mars in Aquarius). Thursday May 31^st – The Moon ingress to Capricorn early in the day, with a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in Taurus promotes action that is reflexive in nature, while the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) from the Moon to Chiron in Aries could create an inner conflict. The Moon is then in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Saturn as the limits of power are illuminated, while the grand-trine in water signs forms to erase responsibility in the greater tragedies of the era. The Moon transits from Saturn to Pluto in Capricorn it forms the opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) with Venus in Cancer. It seems a vortex is created. The emblematic warnings of nature precede the greater impact on life and humanity as a whole. A misuse of power and overly confident administration of power, leads to a natural downfall.

Friday June 1^st – The focus (Saturn) of the power centers (Pluto) in Capricorn will shift with the lunar transits. Emergency measures outweigh partisan battles. Or maybe they in fact mirror one another. Nature follows laws of stress and compensation. It they are out of balance, disaster results. Cancer and Capricorn are the parental signs, while Taurus is an earth sign essential to the environment. Uranus brings turbulence to natural simplicity and upsets the balance (Venus is the ruler of Taurus). Venus in Cancer is disposed of by the Moon in Capricorn. Natural law demands a return to balance = homeostasis. Donald Trump lacks planets in earth signs in his natal chart. This lack leads to a rebellion of nature. While he amasses a fortune to prove his worth (void in earth), he creates a vast imbalance. The Grand-trine in water signs is an emotional whirlpool. Venus in Cancer pulls back on the Capricorn power center, demanding action. The Sun and Mercury in Gemini, quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the power centers, shows that the consciousness or directors are able to only assist tangentially, as the victim toll increases. Saturday June 2^nd – The emotional impact continues as victims and rescue workers are intertwined in a dance for survival (grand-trine in water signs). Mercury in Gemini is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Saturn in Capricorn, as a successful identification (Mercury) of integral problems is made. The power of words and definitions (Saturn) is basic to trust and truth. Later in the day, the Moon transits into Aquarius for more freedom loving fellowship. A square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus could bring sudden change of alliances concerning environmental issues (Taurus). The large scale consumption of non-renewable products and packaging are condemned by environmentalists. New efforts are made to save the future of the planet (Moon conj Mars in Aquarius). Sunday June 3^rd - The Moon in Aquarius forms a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) with Mercury and the Sun today, as plans for future alliances are made. Agreement seems possible now. Powerful figures seemed transformed (Venus in Cancer opposed to Pluto in Capricorn). Mars conjunct to Ketu (South lunar node) and the Moon in Aquarius chooses a more spiritual path. Later the Moon is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter in Scorpio. This could be an outpouring of the emotional depth that is tapped into. A powerful motivator, such as reserve energy and resources is available for the creative use such as the peaceful use of nuclear power for generation of electricity. Monday June 4^th – Venus in Cancer is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Pluto retro in Capricorn. The prized conquest awaits. Intensive work should be done now. The Moon in Aquarius is in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Venus in Cancer as character and fitness are prepared for the test that lies ahead. Tuesday June 5^th – Mercury conjunct (0 deg aspect, combining) the Sun in Gemini increases chatter and the exchange of ideas. A quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Jupiter in Scorpio from the Sun and Mercury offers to expand the scope of dialogue to the prospect of sharing resources. A calculation of risk involved with Neptune in a square aspect (90 deg, conflict) to the Sun and Mercury, as false steps could lead to a complete dissolution of prospects.
